The result is that Neat Video can now run about 1.3x–1.9x faster on Baselight ONE machines (with Baselight 1 or newer). Working together with the Baselight team, we have been able to better optimize Neat Video for Baselight in general and to let Neat Video use the GPU of the node machine as well. However, on Baselight TWO and X, it could only use the host machine’s CPU and GPUs, but not the GPUs of the node machine. Previously, the Neat Video 5 OFX plug-in was able to use all available CPU and GPU computing resources of Baselight ONE systems only. The Baselight update is explained nicely on the Neat Video blog:Īs you know Baselight systems come in different modifications, including ONE, TWO, and X. ![]() The OFX version had the most significant updates with optimized support for Baselight. ![]() Neat Video 5.5.9 came out today and includes updates for several hosts.
